Who is responsible
8Kunya Interior Co., Ltd., Lat Phrao 101, Soi 50, Bangkok 10150, Thailand, is responsible for the personal data described here (the “data controller” under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 and, for visitors in the European Union or Switzerland, the GDPR and the Swiss FADP).
For any question about your data, write to contact@8kunya.com.
What we collect
When you send a brief: the answers you give (type of space, location, size, budget, timing, your own words), any files you attach, your name, email, phone number, company and preferred language.
When you write, call or message us on LINE: what you send us and your contact details.
When you use the room planner: nothing. The plan exists only in your browser and in the link you choose to share.
When you visit the site: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records technical data (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and measures how fast pages load for real visitors. It sets no cookies and does not identify you.
When you send a brief, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are not a bot, using technical signals from your browser. It sets no tracking cookies.
Google Analytics runs only if you accept it in the cookie banner: see “Cookies and Google Analytics” below.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry, arrange a visit and prepare a proposal: steps you ask for before a contract.
To keep your brief while we discuss the project: with the consent you give on the form, which you can withdraw at any time.
To keep the site secure and working: our legitimate interest.
To measure and improve the site: Cloudflare Web Analytics on our legitimate interest, Google Analytics only with your consent.
We do not sell your data, do not use it for automated decisions, and send no newsletters or marketing unless you ask for them.
Who receives it
Only the people at 8Kunya who work on your enquiry, and the service providers that run the site for us: Cloudflare (hosting, the bot check on the brief form, visit statistics and forwarding of email sent to our @8kunya.com addresses), Resend (delivers the brief to our inbox), Google (our Gmail inbox and, only if you accept cookies, Google Analytics). They process the data on our instructions only.
Some of these providers may store data outside Thailand (for example in the European Union or the United States). We use providers that protect personal data with appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
A brief that does not become a project is deleted 12 months after you sent it.
If we work together, project correspondence is kept for the duration of the project and afterwards for as long as Thai accounting and tax law require.
Hosting logs are kept for a short period, usually no more than 30 days.
Google Analytics data is deleted after 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a copy, to restrict or object to its use, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to contact@8kunya.com; we answer within 30 days.
You may also complain to Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) or, in the EU or Switzerland, to the data protection authority where you live.
Security
The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). It loads outside code only from Cloudflare (the bot check on the brief form and visit statistics) and, if you accept cookies, from Google Analytics; our content security policy blocks everything else. Briefs travel encrypted to our inbox. Access to your data at 8Kunya is limited to the people who need it.
Changes
We update this page when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version. The English version is the reference; translations are provided for convenience.
