A small senior team, present from the first site visit to the handover walk. Design led in Thai hands, with project management run to Swiss habits.
Founder & CEO
8Kunya Interior was founded by Jureerut Dumjam and has designed and built interiors in Bangkok for thirty-five years: more than five hundred condominiums, houses, hotel spas and lounges, restaurants, bars, offices and exhibition stands.
General Manager
Aun runs the studio day to day and oversees the construction work on site, from the first day of demolition to the handover walk. When a date has been written down, she is the one who holds the site to it.
Project Manager
The project management is Swiss: a fixed, itemised scope before construction starts, a written programme, a photographed weekly report, and a defects walkthrough before the final payment.
Senior Designer
The design is Thai: a feel for how a room is used in this climate, for light and timber and the place of a prayer shelf, and a craft tradition in joinery that no imported catalogue matches.
